FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask most about Hypad.
About Hypad
What is Hypad?
Hypad is a multi-chain token launchpad. You can create, launch and trade tokens on a bonding curve, and tokens that reach the graduation threshold move on to trading on a decentralized exchange. See What is Hypad?
Which blockchains does Hypad support?
Hypad is built for Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, Base and GIWA. Which ones you can use depends on where Hypad has been deployed and launched. See Supported Networks.
Who can use Hypad?
Token creators, traders, developers and communities who want to take part in on-chain tokens. You must meet any eligibility requirements and follow the laws that apply to you.
Creating and trading tokens
How much does it cost to create a token?
$0.50, plus the network's gas fee.
Can creators lock or vest their tokens?
Yes. The Lock Contract holds tokens until a date and time you choose. The Vesting Contract splits them into a number of separate releases. See Lock & Vesting.
How are new tokens priced?
New tokens trade on a bonding curve. Buying pushes the price up and selling pushes it down. See Bonding Curve.
What are the trading fees?
1% on trades of $100 or less, and 0.5% on trades above $100. Network gas fees and other transaction costs may also apply. See Fees.
Can a creator raise a token's tax after launch?
No. A creator can reduce a token's tax after launch, but can never increase it.
Graduation and liquidity
When does a token graduate?
When its market capitalization reaches $45,000.
What happens when a token graduates?
Its liquidity moves from the bonding curve to a liquidity pool on a decentralized exchange, and the liquidity provider tokens for that pool are locked permanently. See Graduation & Liquidity.
Is graduation guaranteed?
No. A token may never attract enough buying to reach the threshold.
Can the liquidity be withdrawn after graduation?
No. The liquidity provider tokens are locked permanently, so the liquidity added at graduation can't be withdrawn.
Creator NFT and ownership
What is the Creator NFT?
A unique NFT that comes with every token launched on Hypad. It represents the project's ownership and carries the rights and rewards set out in the platform's smart contracts and terms. See Creator NFT.
Who receives the creator's trading fees?
Whichever wallet holds the token's Creator NFT.
Can the Creator NFT be transferred or sold?
Yes. The ownership position and its rights go with the NFT to its new holder.
Does owning the Creator NFT mean owning the whole token supply?
No. The NFT represents the project's ownership position, not the token's supply.
Referrals and rewards
How does the referral programme work?
You receive 5% from every trade made by the people you refer. See Referrals.
How do weekly top-trader rewards work?
Each week, 20% of the platform's trading-fee revenue is shared among the top 100 traders. The top 5 split 40% of the pool and ranks 6 to 100 split the other 60%, each by trading volume. See Weekly Top Traders.
How do I earn Trading Points?
You earn 1 point for every $10 you trade. Buys and sells both count. See Trading Points.
What can I use Trading Points for?
They're meant to give access to future incentives and token airdrops, and they decide eligibility for the Hypad token presale. How they're redeemed will depend on the programmes Hypad introduces.
Can creators reward their holders?
Yes. A reward token can pass part of its transaction tax to holders, depending on the settings its creator chose. See Holder Rewards.
The Hypad token
When will the Hypad token go live?
65 days after the launchpad goes live.
How can I join the presale?
The presale is only open to eligible users who have earned Trading Points. Full requirements will be announced before it begins.
What is the total supply?
1,000,000,000 tokens. See Tokenomics.
Will the whole supply be tradable at launch?
No. 40% will be tradable at launch. The other 60% will be locked and will vest over two years, with details published before launch.
How will buyback and burn work?
Once the token launches, 30% of platform revenue will be used to buy Hypad tokens and burn them, shrinking the public supply over time. See Buyback & Burn.
Security and your responsibilities
Does Hypad hold my funds or private keys?
No. Hypad is non-custodial: you connect your own wallet and approve every transaction yourself.
Can a blockchain transaction be reversed?
Generally, no. Once a transaction is confirmed it's final, so check the details carefully before you sign.
Does launching a token on Hypad guarantee it will succeed?
No. Launching doesn't guarantee trading, graduation, demand or returns. Do your own research and understand the risks. See Disclaimer.
