Getting Started

What is Hypad?

A multi-chain token launchpad that takes a token from its first trade on a bonding curve to a locked DEX pool.

Hypad connects Web3 projects with active communities across several blockchains. Creators launch tokens, traders buy and sell them from the very first trade, and each project's ownership lives in an NFT that can change hands.

It brings together three ideas: bonding-curve trading, clear, published fees, and NFT-based project ownership. The aim is to fix some of what goes wrong with token launches today: projects that fail to take off, projects abandoned by their creators, and communities left with no way to carry on.

Why Hypad exists

A huge number of tokens launch every day. Some draw real attention, but many lose their community and their trading activity soon after launch.

Some are abandoned outright. Copies then appear under the same name or story, and it gets hard for anyone to tell the original from the imitation.

Hypad offers a more structured way to create, trade and own tokens, built to encourage transparency, participation and continuity.

How it works

A token on Hypad moves through two stages: first a bonding curve, then a decentralized exchange.

  1. A creator launches a token

They choose a network, fill in the token's details, and pay the $0.50 creation fee. A Creator NFT is minted alongside the token.

  2. It trades on the bonding curve

There is no order book and no DEX listing yet. A pricing formula sets the price instead: buying pushes it up and selling pushes it down.

  3. It graduates at $45,000

Once the token's market cap reaches $45,000, its liquidity moves to a decentralized exchange, where trading carries on in a liquidity pool.

  4. The liquidity is locked for good

The liquidity added at graduation is permanently locked, so it can't be withdrawn.

Key features

Bonding-curve trading

Every new token starts trading on a bonding curve, so it has a price and a market from the first trade, before it ever reaches a DEX. See Bonding Curve.

Liquidity migration

Tokens that reach the graduation threshold move on to trading on a decentralized exchange, with their liquidity migrated to it. See Graduation & Liquidity.

Permanent liquidity locking

Liquidity deposited at graduation is locked permanently.

NFT-based project ownership

Every token comes with a Creator NFT. Whichever wallet holds the NFT receives the token's creator trading fees and holds its ownership position, as defined by the platform's terms and smart contracts. See Creator NFT.
